The May River High School Sports Booster Club was created to promote MRHS athletics, increase community interest, recognize the endeavor and achievements of MRHS teams and assist the Athletic Department, coaches and administrative staff.
WHY BOOSTERS
Beaufort County School District only allots MRHS Athletic Department approximately $27,000/year total to operate all 22 Varsity and 17 JV teams.
Almost all MRHS sports teams start their season operating at a negative amount...and even after fundraising they need our help with funds for operating costs, travel and meals.
We need broad parental involvement in order to successfully support the additional costs associated with MRHS athletic teams.
